Greed and corruption have poisoned peoples’ mind and soul, barricaded our societies with hate, injustice and have goose-stepped us into misery, bloodshed and underdeveloped society with high economic inequalities and rot of economic fibre. This paper is developed to incorporate greed into corruption models, and divided the compartments into seven sections; Susceptible, Excessive desire, Greed, Corrupt, Jailed, Recovered and Contentment to gain a better insight and understanding of corruption dynamics and greed influences on human behaviour. The equilibrium points of the model were obtained, and the basic reproduction number was computed. The local and global stability analyses of the Corrupt-Free equilibrium were carried out using Jacobian matrix techniques and Lyapunov function respectively. Sensitivity analysis of the model was carried out to determine the most sensitive parameters. ... The effects of the sensitive parameters of the model on the basic reproduction number were presented graphically. It was revealed that the effective excessive desire contact rate 𝛼is the most sensitive positive parameter that will increase the basic reproduction number and by implication increase the corruption in the society. The progression rate from excessive desire class to recovered class, 𝛾 was found to be the greatest sensitive negative parameter which will reduce the basic reproduction number. This implies that as more people leave the excessive desire class to recovered class, the corruption will reduce drastically from the society. The community and religious leaders should intensify the sensitization and preaching against corruption in the society.
