AUTHORSHIP AT JBST
JBST follows the guidelines of the Council of Science Editors (CSE) and International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), which state that, in order to qualify for authorship of a manuscript, the following criteria should be observed:
To be an author, a person must have made substantive contributions to the study by accomplishing at least 3 of the criteria presented in the author contribution form. Also, it is mandatory for all authors to prepare the outline of the manuscript or to intellectually review or criticize the content of the manuscript. It is of all authors’ responsibility to approve the final version of the article before publication. All authors should accomplish the conditions specified above. Otherwise, contributors who do not meet these criteria and conditions are to be mentioned in the final “Acknowledgements” section of the article.
